Introduction
Language and Debating Club of the department of English, City University has been established with a view to improving students’ basic language skills and communication skill. The club regularly arranges various types of competitions like debating competition, public speech, extempore speech, recitation, , storytelling competition, writing competition etc. This club tries to enable the students to use English in real life situations.
Mission:
Enhancing students’ communicative competence.
Objectives:
• Organizing various types of language based competitions.
• Arranging special training session for the students to boost up their communication skill.
• Helping them to gain stage courage through different activities.
• Developing organizing and leadership mentality.
• Creating cooperative and problem solving attitude.
