Rabby Imam is an accomplished educator and researcher with over nine years of experience in the Department of English at City University. As an Assistant Professor, he remains committed to academic excellence, scholarly inquiry, and the holistic development of his students. His research interests encompass modern poetry, linguistics, comparative literature, and seventeenth-century poetry. These intersecting fields inform both his academic output and his approach to teaching, allowing him to bring critical depth and interdisciplinary perspective to the classroom. He has authored seven publications in peer-reviewed national and international journals and is the author of Linguistics: Theories and Components, a student-friendly resource recognized for its clarity and accessible treatment of linguistic theory. Alongside his research engagements, Rabby Imam is a dedicated mentor who actively supports his students in their intellectual pursuits and career aspirations. He continues to embrace new challenges with a forward-looking commitment to growth within the ever-evolving landscape of higher education.
